Paris, 5 November 2020 – Shippeo, the European leader in real-time transportation visibility, today announced their annual customer community event ‘Visibility Now!’ in partnership with Alpega, 4flow and Krone, taking place Thursday 12 November. ‘Visibility Now!’, Europe’s premier event on transport and supply chain visibility, will be a unique live online experience aimed at industry members wanting to address supply chain transportation challenges in these uncertain times. More than 650 Supply chain and Transportation professionals have registered so far.
The event will include speakers from some notable European brands, including TOTAL, Thyssenkrupp Materials, Hager Group, Rubix, Carrefour, Fressnapf/Maxi Zoo and Kuehne and Nagel. Industry leaders will share their experiences on working with visibility solutions, outlining the critical roles they play in their digital transformation initiatives and covering topics such as cost savings, operational efficiency, ROI, CO2 emission reduction and Supply Chain 4.0.
The day will begin with a live 90-minute interactive TV show, where participants will discover the latest insights, trends and innovations related to supply chains across a number of industry sectors. Several workshops and expert sessions will be held in the afternoon for a deep dive on trending topics and best practices. These interactive sessions will provide an opportunity for participants to interact with other market leaders facing similar challenges and hear more about the latest news, insights and product innovations in supply chain and transportation visibility from Shippeo experts.
The event arrives near the close of a year in which supply chains have been challenged and economic climates remain difficult to predict. “As businesses navigate these challenging and uncertain times, it’s become clear that better supply chain visibility isn’t needed sometime soon, it’s needed now,” says Shippeo COO Lucien Besse adding that “given the challenges and uncertainty for supply chain operations over this past year, it’s no surprise that 84% of chief supply chain officers cite lack of supply chain visibility as their biggest business challenge. ‘Visibility Now’ is really an opportunity for supply chain leaders to come together and learn from each other based on first-hand experiences.”
