Shippeo named a Leader in the 2025 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Real-Time Transportation Visibility Platforms

We are proud to share that Shippeo has been named a Leader in the 2025 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Real-Time Transportation Visibility (RTTV) Platforms - for the second consecutive year.

For us, this recognition is more than a milestone. We believe it is a reflection of the work done every day by our team, alongside our customers and their carrier networks, to make supply chain visibility something that actually holds up in the real world: trusted, accurate, and genuinely useful when it matters most.

In this post, we share what we believe drove our recognition, what the Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ evaluates, and what supply chain leaders should look for when assessing platforms in this space.

What the Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for real-time transportation visibility platforms evaluates

In our opinion, the Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ is one of the most widely referenced insights for evaluating enterprise technology markets. It assesses vendors across two

dimensions: Ability to Execute - how well a vendor delivers on its promises today - and

Completeness of Vision - how well it understands where the market is heading.

For us, vendors placed in the ‘Leaders’ quadrant demonstrate strength across both axes: consistent delivery for customers today, combined with a clear and credible strategy for tomorrow.

For supply chain leaders evaluating platforms, we feel a ‘Leader’ position is a meaningful signal. To us, it suggests the vendor has not only built technology that works at scale, but has a roadmap and organisational capability to grow alongside the increasingly complex demands of modern supply chains.

What we believe drove our recognition

Data quality as a non-negotiable

The key reason visibility projects fail is poor data quality and failed adoption. From day one, Shippeo has been built around the conviction that connectivity is just the beginning - what matters is whether the data flowing through that connectivity is accurate enough to make critical operational decisions with confidence.

We invest significantly in AI-driven data integrity, automated exception detection, and the continuous improvement of tracking performance across our carrier network. The result is visibility data that supply chain teams can act on.

The people behind the platform

Shippeo pairs its platform with a dedicated team of logistics experts, data specialists, and integration architects who work actively alongside customers and their carrier networks throughout the entire lifecycle of a project.

Rather than treating implementation as a one-time event, our teams identify friction points early, support carrier adoption, and continuously optimize data flows over time. This hands-on partnership model is how we ensure customers reach full operational value - and how we are able to back outcomes with the industry's only contractual SLAs.

A platform built for the complexity of real supply chains

Today's supply chains do not run on a single mode or a single region. Shippeo provides multimodal visibility across road, ocean, rail, and air - with a neutral, integration-agnostic approach that meets supply chain teams where they are, whether they access data through our platform, their TMS, or a control tower environment.

Our carrier network spans thousands of partners across Europe and globally, and continues to grow. The breadth of that network, combined with the depth of data quality behind it, is what we believe separates visibility you can make decisions with from a dashboard you simply monitor.

What supply chain leaders should look for in an RTTV platform

In our opinion, being named a Leader is a signal worth paying attention to. But as with any analyst recognition, we believe it works best as a starting point for a more informed evaluation. Here are the questions that, in our experience, tend to separate vendors who deliver from those who disappoint.

  • Does the vendor take ownership of data quality - or pass the problem to you? Ask specifically about ETA accuracy rates, how quality is measured and improved over time, and what happens when carrier data degrades. The answer reveals whether data quality is engineered or assumed.
  • How does the vendor support carrier adoption? Carrier adoption is never the vendor's responsibility alone - the customer plays an essential role too. The question is how much structured support the vendor brings to that shared effort. Ask what tools and expertise they provide, how unresponsive carriers are handled, and what the onboarding timeline looks like in practice.
  • How has the vendor handled complex implementations? Ask for references from customers with a similar operational profile. The real test of an RTTV platform is not whether it works in a controlled demo - it is whether it performs in the complexity of a live supply chain.

Built on a foundation of trust

Recognition in the Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ matters to us. But what matters more is what sits behind it: a genuine, contractual commitment to the outcomes our customers sign up for.

Most visibility vendors make promises. Shippeo is the only provider in the market that puts those promises in writing - in the form of a triple contractual SLA, baked directly into every customer contract for: tracking compliance, ETA accuracy and Carrier onboarding.

These are not internal targets or marketing metrics. They are legally binding commitments, structured around a full assessment of your operations, your carrier network, and your readiness - which is exactly why we can make them with confidence. It is what being named a Leader for the second consecutive year means to us in practice: not just a position on a quadrant, but a recognition we are excited to receive.
