Why does Shippeo record calls?
Call recordings are made for the following purposes:
- Employee training
- Employee evaluation
- Improvement of service quality
What is the applicable legal basis in the context of call recording?
No calls are recorded without the consent of the participants.
If you do not give your consent to the listening device, no recording will be made.
Who will have access to the recordings?
Only Shippeo's internal employees who are concerned by the intended purpose will have access to the recordings.
Under no circumstances will Shippeo share recordings with third parties.
How long will my personal data / the records be stored?
Personal data will be stored for as long as necessary to fulfill the defined purposes of the listening device.
In any case, any record is deleted after a period of six (6) months. Analysis documents that have been created from the records are deleted after a period of twelve (12) months.

Who acts as data controller within the meaning of GDPR?
Shippeo acts as a data controller, within the meaning of the RGPD, by using the services of Wingman.
Your rights in the context of the listening device
Right to object to processing of personal data: You have the right, at any time, to object to the processing of your data for legitimate grounds. Any objection must be made in writing by sending an email to the following address dpo@shippeo.com. The email must mention the reason(s) on which the objection is based.
Acces to and rectification of your personal data: In the cases provided by the applicable law, you may request access to your personal data held and processed by Shippeo, consult them, obtain a paper or electronic copy and request correction, updating or deletion. You can exercise these rights by sending an email to the following address dpo@shippeo.com. We will endeavor to respond to your requests as soon as possible and under the conditions provided by applicable law.
Claims: You have the right to lodge a complaint with the French National Commission on Informatics and Liberty (CNIL) or, if provided by applicable law, any other competent supervisory authority.
