Amidst recent disruptions in the supply chain, thriving requires more than mere uncertainty management—it demands a paradigm shift, transforming challenges into strategic advantages. Developed by bestselling author Nassim Nicholas Taleb in 'Antifragile,' this concept revolutionizes our approach to supply chains. Unlike 'resilience,' which merely aims to restore pre-crisis norms, mere recovery isn't sufficient. Join Nassim Nicholas Taleb and Shippeo's Chief Product Officer, Anand Medepalli, on March 28th at 4:00 pm CET. Let's collaboratively redefine resilience and delve into the intricacies of constructing an antifragile supply chain.

Who should attend:

  1. C-Level Executives: Leaders in the retail, F&B, automotive, building materials, petrochemical, or logistics/transportation sectors, seeking to assess and enhance the antifragility of their supply chain.

  2. Supply Chain and Transportation Professionals: Those in the field looking for practical insights and tips on implementing antifragility within their specific supply chain contexts.

  3. Enthusiasts of Supply Chains: Individuals with a keen interest in supply chains, eager to gain a deeper understanding of the Antifragility concept and its application in the industry.

"If anything, Antifragile is a celebration of risk and randomness and a call to arms to recognize and embrace antifragility.  Rather than reduce risk, organize your life, your business or your society in such a way that it benefits from randomness and the occasional Black Swan event."

Nassim Nicholas Taleb spent 21 years as a risk taker (quantitative  trader) before becoming a researcher in philosophical, mathematical and (mostly) practical problems with probability.

Taleb is the author of a multivolume essay, the Incerto (The Black Swan, Fooled by Randomness, Antifragile, and Skin in the Game) covering broad facets of uncertainty. His work has been published  into 49 languages. In addition to his trader life, Taleb has also written, as a backup of the Incerto, more than 70 technical and scholarly papers in mathematical statistics, genetics, quantitative finance, statistical physics, medicine, philosophy, ethics, economics, & international affairs, around the notion of risk and probability  (grouped in the Technical Incerto).Taleb is currently Distinguished Professor of Risk Engineering at NYU's Tandon School of Engineering (retired) [and, finance related bio only: scientific advisor for Universa Investments]. His current focus is on the properties of systems that can handle disorder ("antifragile").Taleb refuses all honors and anything that "turns knowledge into a spectator sport".

Anand has over 25 years of experience as a trusted advisor with leading companies in product strategies, commercial account strategies, and asset planning decisions in transportation, supply chain, and financial services.
